Chief Randy Young
Chief Randy Young served in the US Army and prior to becoming a Police Officer, was a Paramedic in Prince William County, Virginia where he earned one of Virginia’s highest awards for bravery. He started as a part-time officer in Strafford in August 2002 and was promoted to full-time service in January 2006. He attended the New Hampshire Police Academy in 2007. Randy also became the department’s first K-9 Officer with his partner Caisson. Other duties include patrol, investigations and field supervisor. Randy lives in Strafford.
